![Sunna #4 - Les variations de température et de salinité (dans l’océan engendrent des variations de densité qui génèrent des mouvements (courants) de masses d’eau : c’est ce que l’on appelle la circulation globale (courants de surface chauds, et courants froids profonds). Les eaux froides et salées, plus denses, plongent en profondeur et sont le moteur de cette circulation. Cette boucle met environ 1500 ans pour accomplir un cycle complet.
